Squarewise was a knowledge infrastructure consultancy at the time the company invited me to design an interior matching their corporate identity and work processes. At the time I designed this interior, I was moving form large strategic architectural projects to more hands-on design projects. This move was a choice, as in large projects, influence on the materialization of the design was often too limited. The Squarewise project was a step in to the intended direction. However dealing with a rented space within a large commercial office building, with determined wall and ceiling systems created design restrains. I could only intervene in spatial lay out and choice of furniture and decoration. I focused on providing spaces for new ways of working within the company and on to brining some nature and freedom in this highly urbanized space. My favorite space within this project was the jungle room, with hanging sphere chairs and a telescope to watch the stars at night.
