Our architectural projects intend to serve its users and provide nurturing spheres. They vary in scale from concepts for stretches of land, individual buildings, interiors of buildings to single spaces. Modern sustainable solutions go hand in hand with respect for traditional building methods and ancient laws of architectonic creation and flow of energy. We have developed a modern day feng shue, dressing spaces down to their poetic essentials. The studio is active on all stages of the design and building process and prefers to accompany projects from the first ideas and sketches to the actual use of the space.
All spaces or environments we live in should be nurturing, both physically and mentally.
In my architectural work I create spaces or environments that intend to support its users. I study their processes, identity and requirements to create a design brief and concept. I prefer to be involved from creation of the design concept, through design and construction, to materialization of interiors, in order to make sure the ‘sphere’ created has an integral identity and matches the needs of its users.
My design intends to promote harmonious composition and healthy flow of energy. I intervene in space by dressing down to the essential, focusing on a balanced distribution of functions and objects, offering fluid ways of using space. One could say I adapt a Modern Day Feng Shui.
With great respect for our planet, my Studio always seeks for the most sustainable or ‘green’ solution for every project and location.
