Opening solo exhibition nurturing space

Janet’s Solo Exhibition Nurturing Space is an invitation to reflect on the concept and identity of our surrounding space(s). A physical body can be seen as a building and a building can be seen as a body that needs to be cared for and kept in shape. Focusing on providing physical, mental and energetic nutrition in my work, the latest series that will be presented at Marktsteeg 10, play with the relationship between a building and a body. I will present site-specific artworks - the Building Piercings, as well as Totems - interactive sculptures and instruments for ‘tuning in’, followed by several ritual performances and personal guidance.
