Since ancient history, the human body has been adorned with talismans for protection and jewellery to emphasize beauty and commMy pendant installation is an invitation for people to experience energy flow of energy inside the body and in the field around it. It is an interactive tools for (re)connection. The pendant installation can be seen as an instrument to ‘tune in’ to nature and the unifying source of all that is. Each of the different crystals and mineral stones is directed to a chakra on the human body and is selected to have a harmonising influence on that chakra.

The pendant installation has been exhibited at Museum Volkenkunde, Leiden, Netherlands in January 2020 during the exposition "Helende Kracht’. It has been used at The Caravan of Light celebration on the International Day of Peace in Lisbon in September 2019 and has been part of the exposition ‘Nurturing Space’ at Marksteeg 10 Art Gallery in Leiden in July 2019.unicate identity. Pendants are an extention to my earlier Building Piercings and ask attention for buildings as (living) entities which -similar to human bodies- can be provided with protection or adornment and whose identity can be underlined with a piece of jewellery. At the same time pendants intend to have a harmonizing influence on the users of space, through the use of selected natural crystals and mineral stones.
